Paper submission

The EG 3DOR 2010 opens a call for papers to leading researchers working on topics related to 3D object retrieval and applications, including but not limited to:

  • 3D object similarity and matching
  • 3D Object classification, indexing, and mining
  • Feature extraction, model decomposition and segmentation
  • Partial and many-to-many matching
  • Matching under uncertainty and noise
  • Query interfaces and search modalities
  • Multi-level representations for matching and retrieval
  • Semantics-driven 3D object retrieval and classification
  • Sketch-based retrieval
  • Benchmarking issues
  • Relevance feedback methods
  • Active learning
  • Generative / Discriminative approaches in 3D object categorisation
  • Applications in Multimedia, CAD, Gaming, Biometrics, e-Science, e-Learning, Medicine and Biology, Cultural Heritage, etc.

Submission will be considered for full and short papers, and need to be anonymous for double blind-review. Submitted papers will be reviewed by members of the Program Committee.

Full papers

Authors are requested to submit original research papers, no longer than 8 pages. Submitted papers should be formatted according to the Eurographics paper publication guidelines. The required LaTeX template along with guidelines is available on the submission instruction page of the submission website.

Workshop proceedings will be published by the Eurographics Book Series and will be available on-line via the Eurographics Digital Library.

Short papers

Authors are requested to submit original research papers, no longer than 4 pages. Submitted papers should be formatted according to the Eurographics paper publication guidelines. The required LaTeX template along with guidelines is available on the submission instruction page of the submission website.

Short papers will be presented during a poster session and will be published in a separate booklet distributed to the workshop attendees.
